CONTEMPORARY ART AND SCIART JEWELLERY
From a very young age, I was interested in jewellery, although I only started learning goldsmithing skills about 15 years ago in my “spare time”. After 18 years in the UK, I moved back to Toronto in the summer of 2018, and embarked on more professional artist practice. I launched my debut jewellery collection in early 2019, the culmination of three aspects of my interests: goldsmithing, textiles and biology. My designs are informed by shape, line and texture and I work mainly in sterling silver and gold. I love colour, which mainly comes from the incorporation of precious and semi-precious gemstones and textiles.
What I do
I design and fabricate my own work, undertake custom orders of my designs and variations, as well as custom client-led designs, custom redesigns of existing jewellery (reusing/refining existing gold and repurposing gemstones), and jewellery repairs.
I offer an interactive design and quotation process for custom work. I enjoy consulting with clients and work closely with my clients to bring a shared vision to life in jewellery form.
